Seemingly Land Rover's are no longer available in WA, something to do with the minerals boom?
As a result the newly rich folk from WA now find wider choice (at reduced cost!) by instead trekking over to the Eastern States to buy up our new & pre-loved 4WD vehicles.
This is the case with a mate of mine from Perth, Steve Godding, who landed on my doorstep earlier this week announcing that he had bought a new Land Rover Discovery 3 SE from a dealership in Sydney.
Over one bottle of wine too many I somehow managed to offer to help him drive it back to Perth and what follows is our little adventure!

Hey, I thought you Aussie's were tough. So why take the easy route?
You could have bought your car in the UK and traveled over half the world to pick it up.
Now there's an adventure.

hi steve and simon how's it going, you two should stay off the beer and keep out of the sun they're obviously getting to you, what a crazy idea, havn't you got any air miles. there's a couple of people here that wouldn't mind doing that trip, is it a wow trip or not. don't forget when you pick the car up steve to check on the colour of it and to see if the make up mirror is fitted. speak to you soon luv jackiex
